ABOUT Heidi

Heidi has been a sounding board for others for most of her life. She’s lost track of how many times people have said, “I’ve never told this to anyone, but…”

Her experience as a sought after listener and advisor led her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling and earn certifications in Nutrition and Personal Training. She specializes in helping people design habits that stick with an easy to use behavior change system.

Heidi is also a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach. She’s always loved assessments, and was instantly drawn to CliftonStrengths (StrengthsFinder) because of its focus on what’s RIGHT with people. This empowering tool changed the way she relates to and coaches others. It’s also helped her filter her own career and life decisions.

For over 20 years, she’s helped people and organizations make healthy changes by creating safe places for people to talk. She served as a 6 year board member at the midwest’s largest multi-campus church and she has a soft spot for women in ministry. Most recently, she was a “coach to coaches,” building a strong coaching organization for a digital health company.

She currently lives on the south shore of Boston but is a Minnesotan at heart. She’s been married to Kevin for over 27 years and is a mom to three boys, Andrew, Alex, and Kyle.

Using a familiar story as the backdrop, “It Began in the Garden,” unpacks our complicated history with our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

While health is not promised to anyone, our wellbeing is impacted through the small, daily choice we make. As faithful stewards, our responsibility is to care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of our body to the best of our ability,

Are your choices helping or hindering your life’s mission?

The compound effect of our daily choices matter. We build our future one choice at a time. When fatigue, pain, or sickness prevents us from fully engaging with our friends, family, or mission, it’s time to make a change.

“It Began in the Garden” gives you a glance back just long enough to make changes for a healthier future.

“The small, incremental decisions and daily choices you start practicing create a ripple that, over time, becomes a gigantic tidal wave of change. What you do today impacts your tomorrow.”
